Volume 1 (256 pp.) contains a list of works, records of teaching activity, reviews etc., Volume 2 (288 pp.) is a portfolio of selected works, and Volume 3 (176 pp.) contains the exposition of the thesis. The covers were letterpress-printed on a Heidelberg windmill, the books were hand-bound leaving the spines exposed. Appendices in Vols 1 and 3 were printed on a separate stock to indicate the shift from original to reprinted content.
